Tender description

The Council is seeking to appoint a competent supplier to deliver A Re-Imaging and Regeneration Programme within the Downpatrick area, under the Shared Spaces and Services theme. The main objectives of the theme are as follows: SHARED SPACES AND SERVICES Specific Objective 3 The creation of a more cohesive society through an increased provision of shared spaces and services. Engage individuals and communities not normally engaged with the Peace Process on issues of contested space. This programme will provide cross community contact opportunities to help build capacity within disengaged communities, leading to the creation of shared vision and removal of psychological barriers in local neighbourhoods. This programme will offer children and adults an opportunity to create and develop relationships and build self-esteem, some will be a means to revitalise a disenfranchised community and some will offer people a place to express themselves through a visual means.
