Tender description

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a contract for the provision of demolition and associated site remediation services at two ESB peat burning plants located at Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly and Lanesborough, Co. Longford. The contract will be awarded in two Lots, Lot 1 Demolition and associated site remediation services in Shannonbridge Co. Offaly Lot 2 Demolition and associated site remediation services in Lanesborough Co. Longford. The works shall include for the removal of all structures, buildings and plant components with associated waste disposal as per the stipulations outlined in the planning and environmental regulations for each site. Applicants should note that the works will be subject to the Contracting Entity receiving all necessary planning approvals. Lot 1: Demolition and associated site remediation services at Shannonbridge Co. Offaly Lot 1 Demolition and associated remediation services at ESB powerplant in Shannonbridge Co. Offaly. It is proposed that the Contract may include deconstruction of Fuel supply system, Ash removal system, Powerhouse Structures, Chimneys, Site Buildings, underground structures/services, all power plant components remaining after asset recovery program.
