Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council are seeking to commission a suitably qualified consultancy with proven experience of regeneration master-planning, place making, architectural and commercial development to produce a detailed Place Making Plan. The Plan will identify and facilitate future regeneration activity within the study area that focuses in and around Abertillery Town Centre, Blaenau Gwent, South Wales.The purpose of this Place Making Plan is to inform and influence future strategic decision making for regeneration activity within the study area and act as an evidence base to support Blaenau Gwent CBC Officers with future external funding applications and support development of the replacement Local Development Plan.Due to the commercially sensitive nature of the Place Making Plan consultants are required to deliver the plan in two separate ‘deliverable’ documents - as identified within the tender packNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
