Bradford Buddy Scheme - Market Engagement

Tender description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council wishes to inform organisations of its plans for publishing a tender for Buddy Schemes for people with a range of support needs, including learning disabilities and autism; physical and sensory needs; older people and people living with dementia. Bradford Council Health and Wellbeing department, along with its strategic partners, has seen the health and social care system align with a single ambition for people in the district: Happy, Healthy and at Home. The Buddy Scheme will be to support people to make new friends and help them go out and do the things they enjoy. People will be matched with someone who enjoys the same activities so they can go together. We will be holding market engagement events for Providers on: • Thursday 24th March between 1pm – 4pm with the intention of publishing the tender in 2022.
