Willowtree is a children’s home which offers short break facilities for children with disabilities. Within the short breaks service, we also accommodate young people on residential stays. Which means they live with us long term. Within the home we are required to provide food for all our young people. This will be breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any other snacks they may want. The food must be varied to ensure it is things the young people like and to meet any dietary needs they may have. We also must ensure the food is meeting a healthy balance. We are currently in the process of agreeing a direct award to Bidfood so until this is agreed, I need to continue to pay invoices from Brakes. This smart from will cover invoices from December 2021 up to March 2022, if its not agreed before. I expect the estimate to be under what I have raised this for, but its just to ensure we are covered and to save another breach.
