Galway City Council wishes to establish a Single Party Framework for the provision of landscaping services for roundabouts and verges in Galway City. The area to be maintained shall include the following: a. Five no. roundabouts located along the Western Distributor Road b. Deane Roundabout located at the R338/Western Distributor Road Junction c. Browne Roundabout located on Seamus Quirke Road d. Joyce Roundabout located at Bohermore Cemetery e. Skerritt Roundabout located at GMIT f. D’Arcy Roundabout located at Seapoint g. Landscaped bed outside Western Motors at Briarhill h. Landscaped verge along Lough Atalia from the bus garage to Fairgreen Road i. Southern Verge at Kingston Road Please see attached location map attached to this tender (A1 LOCATION MAP 001.pdf - Drawings No. PKS/22-02/001 T) The Contractor shall visit the areas concerned and be familiar with the area prior to pricing the tender. The Contractor should note that grass cutting on the Browne and Skerritt roundabouts will be carried out as part of a separate contract but the contractor should include for maintaining the landscaping on these areas. There is no guarantee of additional contracts, but where they arise, the Contracting Authority will consult the member of the framework agreement in accordance with the rules of operation outlined in this Request for Tender.
