Requirement: Provision of Medical, General Aviation Support and Air Firefighting to British Army Training Unit(s) in Belize (BATSUB) The possible requirement is for an aviation support helicopter and aircrew capable of operating to Visual Flight Rules (VFR) in Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) by day, when tasked in support of BATSUB staff, DIO staff and exercising troops being supported by BATSUB. The services that are likely to be required at the outset of any potential contract are: Ser Description of Activity 1 Provide an air MEDEVAC service - Rotary wing 2 Provide a general aviation service - Rotary wing 3 Provide an air firefighting service - Rotary wing 4 Source and operate from their own base in close proximity to BATSUB. 5 Supply fully SQEP pilots 6 Land and take off from restricted areas including jungle 7 Maintain airframes to ensure no loss of capability 8 Comply with all local and international air regulations 9 Obtain all necessary permissions to operate 10 Participate in Authority training exercises The Authority is looking to conduct Early Market Engagement, full details and conditions of which can be found in the attached document and on the Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP) at the following link: https://contracts.mod.uk/esop/guest/go/opportunity/detail?opportunityId=53524
