Provision of Medical, General Aviation Support and Air Firefighting in BATSUB

Tender description

Requirement: The possible requirement is for twin engine aviation support helicopter and aircrew capable of operating to Visual Flight Rules (VFR) in Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) by day, when tasked in support of BATSUB staff, DIO staff and exercising troops being supported by BATSUB. The services that are likely to be required at the outset of any potential contract are: Ser Description of Activity 1 Provide an aviation MEDEVAC service - Rotary wing 2 Provide a general aviation service - Rotary wing 3 Provide an aviation firefighting service – Rotary wing 4 Source and operate from their own base in close proximity to BATSUB. 5 Provide a twin engine airframe – Rotary wing 6 Provide fully SQEP pilots and ground crew 7 Land and take off from restricted areas including jungle 8 Maintain airframes to ensure no loss of capability 9 Comply with all Belizean Aviation Authority and international air regulations 10 Obtain all necessary permissions to operate 11 Participate in Authority training exercises
