Print Room Equipment Lease of Light Production Device and Associated Software 2022-25

Provider appointed for the Lease of a single Light Production Device and associated software used in a Print room/Reproduction department. Light Production Device, identified as a High Speed Printing/Copying device, designed for running high volumes and built to withstand the heat and processes caused by long-term high volume usage. The software falls into two categories: 1. Document Make-ready The software is designed to allow a fine degree of control over the print file and tailor the job with much greater control, e.g. insert different colour/size pages, number pages, etc. 2. Transactional Data Software Captures variable data* from the enterprise systems, e.g. Northgate Revs and Bens, and allows the council to process the data intelligently and add a adaptable template design to the data output, e.g. Council Tax Bills, Business rates etc, which can be produced as a printed sheet, an email or a web page. *variable data is a file that contains multi account information in a single file, e.g. the council tax file contains a mixture of differing information for multiple Council Tax accounts.
