Tender description

The N61 Tulsk to Gortnacrannagh Road Project comprises the construction of a new national primary road (approx. 5.75km long) and all ancillary works. The survey area is located to the north of Tulsk village in the midland’s region of Ireland. The N61 is a major arterial route that runs from Boyle to Athlone. The section under consideration commences north of Tulsk village and runs northward for approximately 5.75km to the townland of Gortnacrannagh. The Detailed Topographical Survey Contract includes establishment of control, undertaking a topographical survey and production of a digital terrain model. The survey will provide digital survey data including points, breaklines, contours and ground model. The survey information will be used to develop the preliminary design in advance of planning and then be used to develop the subsequent detailed design and contract documentation for the N61 Tulsk to Gortnacrannagh Road Project.
