Tender description

Purchase of Automated Droplet Generator and Droplet Reader Equipment, their installation, consumables, service and maintenance, for installation at the new Gene Therapy Innovation and Manufacturing Centre in Sheffield between 2022 and 2027. The intention to award a contract as a 'Negotiated procedure without a prior call for competition' was previously published as Voluntary ex ante transparency notice (reference: 2022/S 000-001864) on 21/1/2022. Regulation 32 of PCR 2015 was applied as in 32. (2) (b) (ii) and 32. (5) (a). The first purchase was for one QX200 AutoDG ddPCR System AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System for EvaGreen or probe-based digital PCR applications, includes Automated Droplet Generator, QX200 Droplet Reader, laptop computer, and QuantaSoft Software, Plate Sealer, Modular thermal cycler platform, plus other ancillary items/optional extra/consumables and service/maintenance. An additional appliance (as per above) may be purchased between 2022 - 2027 up to £250,000
