The undertaking, by suitably qualified and experienced consultants, of the necessary research resulting in a "Technical Options and Assessment Document" for renewable energy potential across the region (Laois, Westmeath, Longford and Offaly) and B. the subsequent preparation (based on that Technical Options and Assessment Statement) of a Local Authority Renewable Energy Strategy (LARES) for each of the Four Authorities by means of a variation to the relevant County Development Plans.
