7909 QS for the Supply and delivery of Herbicides

Tender description

Lot 1: Iarnród Éireann proposes to pre-qualify a number of suitably qualified candidates to be appointed to Qualification System in order to participate in mini tender competitions during the term of the Qualification System. The scope of the contract includes the provision of the following herbicides: 1. Systemic non selective broad spectrum herbicide for Railway Ballast (application by Spray Train) 2. Herbicide indicated to treat Equisetum Arvense (Mares Tail/Horse Tail) approved for use on Railway Ballast (application by Spray Train/Tractor). 3. Supply of systemic selective herbicide for control of deep rooted perennial herbaceous weeds & woody weeds on Railway Embankments (application by Spray Train/Tractor). 4. Systemic non selective broad spectrum herbicide for Railway Ballast & Embankments (application by Knapsack). 5. Supply of Contact & residual non selective broad spectrum herbicide for Railway Ballast (application by Spray Train)
