Tender description

The contract is for the Provision of Older Persons’ Care Home Services for each Service User placed within Care Homes under the following age band:• Adults aged 65+ and under the following Service specialisms listed below:• Older PeopleIn general terms and for the purposes of this Tender, ‘Older Persons’ Care Home Services’ should be taken to mean treating a Service User with dignity, compassion and respect, focusing on their health and well-being. Offering a personalised co-ordinated method of care, support or treatment, and supporting the Service User to recognise and develop their own strengths and abilities to enable them to live a fulfilling life (this definition should not be considered as exhaustive). Lot 1: In accordance with Regulation 34(28)(a) Public Contracts Regulations 2015, West Northamptonshire Council has made a decision to extend the period of validity of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Provision of Older Persons' Residential and Nursing Home Services until 30th April 2023. This extension applies to West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) only. All Providers currently registered on the DPS will remain on the DPS and do not need to take any further action. Potential Providers who wish to submit a tender to apply in getting onto the DPS must pass the exclusion criteria and meet the selection criteria set out in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) to be appointed to the DPS.
