Waterford Regional Sports Centre Flood Lighting Installation

Tender description

Waterford City and County Council intend to undertake electrical works at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre (WRSC). Funding has been received from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media to upgrade the flood lights. Upon receipt of tenders WCCC will have to get project approval from the department to proceed with the tendered works. The works will be undertaken under a “Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Contractor” contract process. The removal of the existing flood lighting and installation of new flood lighting is likely to proceed in during an agreed 2-3 week window in June / July 2022. The contractor will appoint appropriately qualified and experienced professionals to design and certify the various elements of the project.
