<p>Trafford Council is seeking to commission a Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Infrastructure Support Service. The contract will be for a three-year period from October 2022 to September 2025 (with the option to extend for up to a further two years). Trafford has a strong and resourceful Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector made up of over 1,600 groups and organisations of all types and sizes. ONS (Office for National Statistics) data suggests that there are 4,772 paid employees in Trafford&rsquo;s VCFSE sector, along with an estimated 34,062 volunteers supporting groups and organisations across the borough. The VCFSE Infrastructure Support Service will need to proactively support and contribute to the delivery of the emerging Trafford VCFSE Strategy which outlines the aims and outcomes focused on building the resilience and strength of the sector. Trafford&rsquo;s VCFSE Strategy vision is to have &ldquo;a strong, diverse Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector which plays a key role in strengthening communities and delivering shared priorities&rdquo;.</p> Keywords: Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise, VCFSE
