Tender for replacement Adblue bulk holding tanks

Tender description

Following inspection on our existing steel tanks at these locations, it has been identified that the epoxy lining on the inside of the metal tanks has been compromised. The tanks were installed ca. 2008. AdBlue is a solution of high-purity urea (32.5%) and deionized water (67.5%). In a process called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) AdBlue is injected into the exhaust of diesel vehicles which significantly reduces the level of nitrous oxide released into the atmosphere. Dublin Bus fleet (diesel buses) use Adblue on a daily basis and are topped up at depots as part of the nightly re-fuelling process. Due to the mileage covered by Dublin Bus fleet, weekly usage of Adblue at each of our depots is in the thousands of liters per week.
