Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Audit

<p>The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking an experienced safeguarding adults auditor to deliver a multi-agency audit.</p> <p>The multi-agency safeguarding adults audit will focus on resident records of adult safeguarding activity, which have progressed through the system, from the following organisations:</p> <p>Adult Social Care Services, LB Hounslow (ASC)</p> <p>Metropolitan Police West London NHS Trust (WLNHST)</p> <p>Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)</p> <p>Chelsea &amp; Westminster NHS Trust</p> <p>Hounslow Richmond Community Health (HRCH)</p> <p>Any other relevant agencies who have engaged with the case</p> <p>The audit will specifically focus on the following areas.</p> <p>&bull; Appropriate consideration and use of the Mental Capacity Act 2005</p> <p>&bull; The appropriate use of advocacy/ representation when an adult at risk lacks capacity</p> <p>&bull; Making Safeguarding Personal and its relationship with the Mental Capacity Act 2005</p> <p>&bull; Multi-agency practice, specifically focussing on how organisations work together to manage safeguarding cases</p> <p>Cases will be identified through LAS and will have had the engagement of at least two agencies.</p> <p>&nbsp;This will be a desk-based audit using a multi-agency Safeguarding Audit Tool.
