Louth Village Community Development Plan

Tender description

The Project Name or Title is “Louth Village Community Development Plan”. Louth Village Development Group (LVDG) is the name assigned to members of the following stakeholders: Louth Village Community Centre/Hub, St. Mochtas GAA Club, Louth Tidy Towns Committee, Louth Vintage and Local Business’s The Promoter who will enter a contract for the Provision of Services for the Project is “Louth Community Centre”. LVDG through the Louth Community Centre have submitted an Expression of Interest to Louth Leader Partnership (LLP) for funding/grant support for the Project. Louth Leader Partnership have indicated that they are supportive of the project and have asked Louth Community Centre to issue a tender for the provision of services for the project. Louth Community Centre will then submit a report on Tenders to Louth Leader Partnership. If LLP confirm they are supportive to providing grant support, Louth Community Centre will then engage in an agreement with the service provider for the preparation of the Louth Village Development Plan. Louth Village Development Group (LVDG) wish to engage a suitably qualified and experienced professional consultancy, with strong architectural urban influences to prepare a Public Realm & Economic Development Plan for the village of Louth, Co. Louth. This plan will be titled “Louth Village Community Development Plan”. LVDG and the successful appointed consultant will work closely with Louth County Council (LCC) in engagement during the preparation of the plan. The successful appointed consultant will work closely with all stakeholders, community groups, organisations and businesses in Louth Village. The plan will be used by LVDG as a tool for seeking future funding (private and public) to realise the proposals and recommendations contained in the Plan. A key requirement of the Plan is for the preparation of a 5-year Strategic plan for the “Louth Community Hub.
