Household Support Fund (HSF) Promotion

Tender description

We are looking for an organisation to deliver a series of at least 10 promotional events to raise awareness of the HSF support offer through CAWF, creating a pipeline of applications from the community to ensure the best use of grant funding. We expect the organisation to focus on fuel insecurity and challenges with fuel bills as an engagement strategy with residents, connecting with them on the topic, understanding their needs and referring them in to the HSF support offer via CAWF. We expect a broad geographical spread to the events, at least two in each of the four main areas of the borough (Leytonstone, Leyton, Walthamstow and Chingford) with appropriate community venues being used as a route to a wide range of likely applicants. The provider will not be expected to conduct an assessment of the eligibility of an applicant to receive a grant. However, the provider is expected to make sure that they live within the borough and are experiencing challenges with paying their fuel costs before recommending that they contact CAWF to apply.
