Event Catering Concessions - 2022

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council ('the Council') is seeking to appoint various operators to provide food and drink catering units/stands for outdoor events in 2022. Operators can apply to trade at as many events as they wish, although operators must be able to commit to these events should they be successful. The events on offer are as follows: o Lot 1 - Live at the Bandstand (11th June 2022 - 24th Sep 2022) o Lot 2 - Queens Platinum Jubilee Weekend (5th June 2022) o Lot 3 - The Portsmouth International Kite Festival (30th & 31st July 2022) o Lot 4 - Great South Run (15th and 16th October 2022) The contracts will take the form of a service concession which will require payment to the Council from successful operators at least 2 weeks in advance of the events. The procurement timetable is shown below. Whilst the Authority does not intend to depart from the timetable, should the schedule change, all suppliers will be informed of this change via Intend. Request for quotation published Thursday 17th February Deadline for requests for clarification Fri 11th March at 23:59 Quotation return deadline Fri 18th March 2022 at midday Evaluation of returns completed by Friday 1st April 2022 Contract award Fri 8th April 2022 Deadline for submissions via In-Tend is Friday 18th March at 12:00.
