EEP2 Multi-Disciplinary Design Team Framework

Tender description

Coventry City Council ("the Council") has appointed a framework of multi-disciplinary design team consultants to support the Education Expansion Phase 2 project Lot 1: The Coventry One Strategic Plan and Education Capital Programme, presented to Council on 2 October 2018, 18 February 2020 and again on 12 October 2021, sets out pupil forecasts for special, primary and secondary pupils across Coventry's education planning areas in response to rising or falling pupil cohorts across the city. It outlines the strategy proposed by the Local Authority and the Coventry Secondary Headteacher Partnership to meet the additional places required in secondary provision from 2019 - 2024. Throughout the education expansion programme, consultancy support has been required to varying levels across each of the expansion projects delivered, including cost consultants, employers' agents, architects, structural engineers and other design services. Further funding has been provided for the delivery of the second phase of school expansions. Four consultants have been appointed to the framework following this procurement exercise. The Council will call off from this framework as necessary to support the projects as needs arise. The scope of the necessary input will vary by project, and by the stage of the project. However, it is envisaged that the consultants will have the capability to provide the services set out in the RIBA Standard Professional Services Contract 2020 Architectural Services and the RIBA Principal Designer Professional Services Contract 2020.
