Dunboyne Link Road – Dunboyne Business Park connection to R157 Consultancy Phases 1-4

Tender description

The Dunboyne Link Road – Dunboyne Business Park connection to the R157 scheme is a new road scheme in Dunboyne Co. Meath referenced in the Meath County Development Plan 20013-2019, as varied. The proposed road shall be approximately 500m and include junctions, footpaths, bus stop and parking facilities, public lighting and service duct provision. The scheme is to serve as a connection between the Dunboyne Business Park and the R157. This connection is of critical importance to the proper planning and sustainable development of Dunboyne. The function of this link is not to provide additional road based capacity but to provide improved access to suitable roads and to reduce the level of traffic through the town centre in particular HGVs. This competition is for Multi Discipline Engineering Consultancy Services for Phases 1 to 4 as described in Schedule B of the Tender and Schedule for the Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical). The objective is to undertake the necessary preliminary design and environmental evaluations in order to prepare a Part 8 Planning Application for the proposed link road.
