DCC Panel for the provision of Geotechnical Site Investigations

Tender description

Dublin City Council is seeking to establish a Panel for the provision of geotechnical site investigations for projects. Panel members may be required to provide geotechnical site investigations to inform projects through stages (i) - (v) of the Capital Works Management Framework or a subset thereof. The projects will vary in terms of their scope. Investigations may be required on existing developed sites, greenfield and brownfield sites, roads and pavements and within existing buildings. It is intended that the geotechnical site investigations to be provided will cover the following project types: Trial pitting; Slit Trenching; Foundation pitting; Cable Percussion Boring; Rotary Coring; Static and Dynamic probing; Window Sampling; Gas monitoring; Gas and dust sampling; Groundwater monitoring / soakaway testing (BRE Digest 365); Surface water sampling; Permeability and Packer Testing; Pump Testing; Plate bearing testing and in-situ density; Pyrite and Mica sampling and testing including associated reinstatement and building works; Road/pavement coring including associated like for like reinstatement; Laboratory sampling and testing; Testing for contaminants; Waste Classification (WM3 guidance and HazWasteOnLine); Factual and Interpretative reporting; Environmental desktop/walkover surveys to scope site investigations. Typically, the value of each contract would range from < €10,000 to approximately €50,000. However individual projects or aggregated jobs may range from €50,000 to approximately €200,000.
