Tender description

The MOD currently supplies a number of hard armour ballistic plates to a variety of Users across the UK Armed Forces. The MOD is conducting market engagement to inform potential future requirements to procure new body armour systems, whilst continuing to optimise and develop our capabilities. An RFI is being issued to aid the MOD’s understanding of expected equipment performance characteristics, technology maturity and delivery context of current solutions and Industry future trends. The RFI document is attached to this notice. From time to time, updates on any clarification questions received and responses provided may be added to this notice. Suppliers wishing to respond to this RFI are requested to email their responses to Ryan.Yung100@mod.gov.uk in line with the response timescales below. Suppliers are requested to respond to this RFI by 10:00 Monday 11th April 2022.
