01961 Supply of LAN Equipment

Tender description

As part of continual improvements to the IT infrastructure for the Scottish Prison Service, the SPS is looking to expand the reach of its network, to supply IT services into new locations/areas. These network services are consumed by Staff, Contractors, Partners and Guests. The services range from Cloud/SaaS MS365 access for Staff, VOIP services for Staff, internet access for contractors/guests, and access to key infrastructure for their partners. Under this Contract, the Supplier shall be responsible for providing Goods to support the following: 1. Deployment of Edge switches at new locations; 2. Deployment of Core switches at new locations; 3. Deployment of Wireless Access Points at new locations; and 4. Deployment of Firewall infrastructure at key locations. SPS procured and awarded this project via the CCS Framework RM6068 Technology Products & Associated Services – Lot 2. An Invitation to Quote(ITQ) was published by SPS via the public Contracts Scotland - Tender (PCS-T) portal and was made available to all suppliers on the Framework. Tender responses were then evaluated by the SPS in accordance with the ITQ Guide to Scoring.
