The Science Division (SD) of the Health and Safety Executive invites competitive quotations for the Design and Supply of the following equipment to their Laboratory located at Harpur Hill, Buxton SK17 9JN Design and supply in accordance with HSE ER 2014/16 regulations: 1 x Single compartment Explosives Store 1000 x 2000 x 1000 mm (L x W x H) Internal dimensions 4 x Single compartment Explosives Store 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm (L x W x H) internal dimensions Design to include; • Store fabrication in accordance with the above UK HSE regulations. • Security door c/w with heavy duty internal hinges, Banham 7 lever high security locks, antidrill plates & escutcheon covers. • Internal foundation bolt holes c/w associated fasteners, external earthing bosses. • Internally wood lined throughout, softwood T&G to walls & roof, hardwood ply to floor. • Internal wood shelf at midpoint (removable) • All external surfaces to be shot blast, primed, undercoat & top coat satin finish. Documentation To include build dossier, certificate of conformity and any relevant certification (CE/UKCA) Additional information: If you are able to supply the items and wish to submit a bid, please do so via the In-Tend portal by 13:00hrs on Wednesday 9th March 2022. Please indicate your costs for each item above and the total bid costs; b. HSE requires details of the standard warranty and support that come with the kit; c. HSE also requires delivery of the units to Harpur Hill, Buxton SK17 9JN d. Tenderers must provide details of any delivery charges (if any are applicable). e. Tenderers must also provide details of the lead times from order to delivery. The successful supplier will be selected based on ability to meet the specification above and best price.
