Provision of Healthy Behaviours (Lifestyle) Services - second Expression of Interest opportunity

Tender description

Torbay Council is intending to undertake a future tender process to award a contract for a provider to develop and implement a wide-ranging healthy behaviour (lifestyle) service which takes into consideration wider workforce development and a range of delivery models and locations including digital/remote, face to face, groups, community and commercial settings. The following are examples of the type of services Torbay Council are considering to be included in the opportunity: specialist stop smoking and weight management services (tier 2), physical activity advice and interventions, behaviour change centred training such as MECC (Making Every Contact Count)/Connect 5, wraparound brief advice and referral regarding other areas of health behaviour such as emotional health and wellbeing, substance misuse and oral health. (PLEASE NOTE however, that this list of services required is neither definitive nor exhaustive). This is the second expression of interest (EoI) opportunity being sought in relation to the provision of these services, following an initial expression of interest opportunity held in April 2021.
