NHS Grampian Mini Competition for Rheumatology Medical Services - Ultrasound against the NSS Framework NP676/17

Tender description

The provider will provide a consultant level Rheumatologist along with a registered nurse to run Rheumatology clinics The clinic space is available: Thursday – afternoon/evening Friday – all day Saturday – all day Sunday – all day Four clinic sessions should be provided each week with access possible from 0830 to 2000 each day. A maximum of two consultants should deliver the four sessions in a single week 7 new outpatients are expected to be seen per clinic with an appointment duration of 30 minutes The appointment should include: Review of condition as detailed in referral letter Appropriate patient counselling and management plan If a return appointment is indicated then: Completion of clinical note on Trak Order comms for any diagnostic, bloods, excisions, onward referral. Outcome form completion, Dictation and signoff of all letters To provide continuity of service a maximum of 6 consultants should fulfil this contract The contract will ideally start in January 2022 with funding secured through to end of March 2022. The winning contract can be extended through mutual agreement for a period of 24 months.
