NAC/4314 Distress Brief Intervention Service

Tender description

North Ayrshire in collaboration with East and South Ayrshire Councils requires to establish a new contract for a Distress Brief Intervention Service (DBI). The service will operate at two levels. One, front line staff from NHS Emergency Departments, Primary Care, Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, provide a direct referral pathway to a centralised DBI level 2 support service which will operate pan Ayrshire to support service users with trained staff to provide compassionate community-based problem-solving support, wellness and distress management planning, supported connections and signposting for a period of up to 14 days, connecting people to the supports that help them over time. Two, the successful bidder will lead, deliver and implement the DBI level 2 service across Ayrshire.
