N72-N73 Mallow Relief Road Topographical Survey

Tender description

Cork County Council are planning the development of the N72-N73 Mallow Relief Road. The planning of the development will involve the publication of a Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO), an Environmental Impact Assessment, and taking the scheme proposal through the statutory planning process, followed on by the Detailed Design of the scheme. To the west, the proposed scheme will tie in with the existing N20 near Mallow General Hospital, and to the east proposes an at-grade junction to link the existing N72 and N73 to the scheme. The project also includes an active travel corridor which runs along the disused railway line and proposes to connect to Mallow railway station via a new footbridge near the Beecher Street roundabout crossing over the existing N20.
