Tender description

Marine Scotland wishes to commission a sustainability appraisal of proposed fisheries management measures at 21 MPAs. The proposed measures are subject to the requirements of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, and a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is required. In addition an assessment of the socio-economic effects is also required. The SEA and socio-economic assessments shall be combined into a sustainability appraisal, which will support Scottish Ministers in their decision to implement fisheries management measures at the MPA.
