Summary of the work Design and creation of tested and accessible site collection to build hubs, sites, web parts and data feeds. The Supplier must advise and provide a governance plan. The Supplier to assess skills, provide knowledge transfer and training for admin and support staff Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 70-90 days call off Latest start date Tuesday 3 January 2023 Maximum Day Rate Maximum day rate will be £1,000 Who Speclialist Work With To be confirmed What Specialists Work On EMSOU requires a person or team of persons to design and plan implementation for a SharePoint Site Collection and libraries that meet the needs of our users in a complex and operationally sensitive setting. It is expected that the person(s) will have Business Analysis, Data Architecture and SharePoint developer/admin/governance skills to design and implement a SharePoint Site Collection that is robust against information/records management requirements, legislation, and operational needs. To include a phased migration plan, implementation plan, and governance plan to transition the organisation from network file shares to SharePoint users. Skills & Experience • Microsoft ‘gold’ Partner status, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of platform skill and expertise • Demonstrate experience in the design and configuration of SharePoint Online for a UK Government agency or able to demonstrate equivalent experience. • Demonstrate experience setting up SharePoint Online governance and compliance centre and documenting roles and responsibilities. • Demonstrate experience training SharePoint Online administrators and service desk • Demonstrate experience migrating from a non-SharePoint infrastructure to SharePoint Online • Demonstrable experience of providing a skilled technical team that worked collaboratively in a multi-supplier environment. • Demonstrate experience of identifying the technical ‘building blocks’ to support business capabilities. • Demonstrable experience of developing as-is and to-be architecture models factoring in wider programme activities. • Demonstrate experience in the configuration and testing of connectors. • Demonstrate experience in configuring advanced search across MS365 and connected application. • Demonstrate experience of connecting SharePoint Online to an Azure data centre to make use of common / master data sets • Police security clearance to NPPV3 + SC • Able to work onsite. • Please note that each of the mandatory criteria will require a minimum score of 2 (met) Nice to Haves • Demonstrate innovative use of advanced collaboration and automation tools • Demonstrate MS365 uses of AI and Machine Learning Work Location In the vicinity of M1 junction 27 Working Arrangments On Site with a possibility of remote working Security Clearance The individual(s) must already have NPPV3 + SC clearance. Additional T&Cs Individual(s) and any company will be required to sign confidentiality agreements. There may be a requirement for an IR35 check and the IPR will rest with EMSOU & Leicestershire Police. Is there a maximum value for the project? Yes, £70,000 3. We are a completely remote working team of SME’s in this space, and have ALL necessary capabilities to meet your requirements. Will you consider remote working to deliver this piece of work – with periodic site attendance? We would require a reasonable level of attendance and would also have to understand your security policy around remote working.We also have a remote working policy here that you would have to adhere to and would have to look the possibility at providing devices to work from – to be determined 4. Please can you confirm what you mean by ‘technical building blocks’ in the question, “Demonstrate experience of identifying the technical ‘building blocks’ to support business capabilities.” Demonstrate experience of identifying appropriate SharePoint architecture, services, and capabilities to support required business processes.
