Tender description
Shannonbridge Action Group CLG wishes to engage a suitably qualified architectural team to consult locally, interpret recent research studies, develop conceptual designs, detailed design and submit a planning application to determine the best possible future use of the former school building in the village of Shannonbridge. The site has been identified as an opportunity site within Offaly County Council’s development plan . The services include the delivery of planning permission for a change of use for the Shannonbridge old school buildings through local consultations with the client and key stakeholders. This will include the review of existing buildings to agree extent of refurbishment and extent of demolition and clean-up, preparation of preliminary layout options, review of scope and brief for proposed new uses, development of options, outline cost plan, review with client and preparation of final design drawings and visualisations for presentation. Tenderers need to include all necessary fees for the planning application process We anticipate this contract to commence no later than the end of October/beginning of November 2022 with contract completion of no later than the end of Q3 2023. The contract completion date is tentative and subject to advancement of the planning process etc. Please refer to all tender documents & submit documentation as requested in the QC2-Suitability Assessment Questionnaire together with required appendices & declarations. FAILURE TO SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MAY DISQUALIFY TENDERS This contract is funded via the Just Transition Fund
