Supply and Delivery of Metered Electricity

Ni Water Are advising the market that they expect to be going out to market early February 2023 to appoint suppliers of metered electricity. the new contracts will be for a maximum of 12 months commencing 1st October 2023. NI Water are currently exploring options with a tender expecting to consist of 5 schedules and it will be potentially tendered as a gas flex product or day ahead SNP. It is anticipated the tender will be launched using the negotiated procedure with prior call for competition and will comprise of 2 stages (stage 1 is the Pre-Qualification Stage and Stage 2 will be an invitation to negotiate. the estimated contract value will be in the range of £70m to £130m subject to market conditions. Lot Schedule 1: Approx. 4 sites and equates to 27% of NI Water load Lot Schedule 2: Approx 22 sites and equates to 25% of NI Waters load Lot Schedule 3: Approx 275 sites and equates to 36% of Ni Waters load Lot Schedule 4: Approx 2158 sites and equates to 12% of Ni Waters load Lot Schedule 5: Approv 90 sites and these are non half hourly meters
