Engineering Services Provider Framework Agreement for Ship Design and Project Management Service in Support of Ship Construction Projects for Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Limited Lot 1: Concept Design Concept Design - high level for tendering purposes (not to Classification Society Approval): - Naval Architecture, - Structural Analysis, - Hull Structure, - Piping and Machinery, - Hull Outfitting, HVAC and Accommodation Interior, - Power, Propulsion, Manoeuvring and Deck Mechanical Systems - Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication and Automation Lot 3: Detail Design - Detail Design based on extensively proven Engineering Flow and Interface Coordination covering: i) 3-D model development based on progressive stage by stage design reviews, ii) Extraction of 2-D Drawings, covering all disciplines and iii) electrical cable routing and termination information, - Production Information Development (MTOs, Work Packages, Work Station Drawings, Pallet Lists, NC production data, lifting & turning info, etc.), - Development of Equipment and Systems Technical Specifications and Procurement Support, - Project Engineering Work-flow Processes (systematic development of ship designs, by phase and by stage – integrated and coordinated with contract requirements, procurement program, Class requirements and production programme strategy), and - Developed engineering databases for design and production standards, software developments, components libraries and engineering software (including module enhancements for quality and productivity). - Development and maintenance of ship weight control programmes. Lot 4: Additional Engineering Services Commissioning and Sea Trials, Build Strategy and Planning Support Lot 5: Combined Services (Lots 1-4) Suppliers successfully awarded a place on Lots 1-4 will be automatically appointed on Lot 5. Lot 2: Basic Design Basic Design (functional design to the level of Classification, State and Owner approval covering all disciplines): - Naval Architecture, - Structural Analysis, - Hull Structure, - Piping and Machinery, - Hull Outfitting, HVAC and Accommodation Interior, - Power, Propulsion, Manoeuvring and Deck Mechanical Systems - Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication and Automation
