Tender description
The object of this VEAT notice is to inform the market that the DRHE have a awarded a two-year contract to Peter McVerry Trust to provide support services in a homeless accommodation in the South Dublin area that is urgently required to facilitate immediate emergency accommodation needs. This support services includes catering and other related services and will be provided on a 24/7 basis. Justification for the award of the contract without prior publication of a call for competition is in accordance with Article 32.2(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU in so far as strictly necessary where, for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the Contracting Authority. The value of the contract is €800,000 (excl VAT). This is due to the absolute urgency to acquire new family accommodation in South Dublin and there is a requirement for a support service to manage and run the facility offering key working, case management as well as facilities management.
