Train the Trainer Cultural Awareness Package for Line Manager

NHSE Nursing Directorate have commissioned the development of online cultural awareness training for the line managers of internationally educated nurses (phase 1). As an extension of this, specifically as a legacy of the 50K programme we seek to commission a train the trainer package - based on the online package which is already in development. This will enable the cultural awareness training to be delivered locally in trusts face to face by trust nominated staff e.g. cultural ambassadors/ EDI leads etc. It is anticipated that training will be delivered initially to a cohort of c200 regional trainers across all 7 regions as well as a resource pack to be hosted on an identified learning platform. It is intended that both the online training and the train the trainer package will be accessed by the majority of trusts currently being supported with their international nurse recruitment (c150 trusts) via national funding.
