Request for Tender to support Skillnet Ireland in the implementation of specific tasks under the EU GreenSkills4H2 project.

Tender description

Skillnet Ireland is implementing an EU project under the Erasmus+ programme. This project is called GreenSkills4H2 - The European Hydrogen Skills Alliance. It is a 4-year project with an overall budget of €3.8 million that is led by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT Germany) bringing together key Industry and Education stakeholders from across the sector, including the University of Galway and Hydrogen Europe. Skillnet Ireland will implement activities in Ireland, focussed on the development, testing and roll-out of Vocational Educational Training (VET) curricula and training programmes in line with latest market needs and with EU instruments and tools; continuous skills and career development that empowers technical professionalism in both green and digital competences; and the widespread dissemination and rollout of the VET training to maximise European impact. The project and the implementation of activities in Ireland are supported by an EU grant provided under the Erasmus+ programme which supports 80% of eligible costs. Activities must consequently also be funded by sources of co-financing other than the EU grant such as match funding or core funding and may include covering costs of staff allocated to the project. Skillnet Ireland now seeks support in the implementation of specific tasks in Ireland within Work Package 3 (Curriculum, Qualifications and VET training programmes) and Work Package 4 (Rollout of VET training programmes).
