5 frameworks for the supply and/or installation and/or commissioning of power transformers for National Grid comprising: - UK electricity transmission networks across England and Wales - UK electricity distribution networks across the East Midlands, West Midlands, Wales and South West of England - US electricity transmission and distribution across New York State and New England. Lots 1, 2 , 3 and 4 will be awarded as individual framework agreements, and lots 5 - 7 under one framework agreement. Lot 1: UK High Voltage Transmission Transformers and Shunt Reactors The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of one or multiple of the following: 400kV (BIL 1425kV) - Transformers to 1100MVA - Shunt Reactors to 200MVAr 275kv (BIL 1050kV) - Transformers to 240MVA - Shunt Reactors to 100MVAr Lot 2: UK Medium Voltage: Tertiary Connected Transformers The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of: Tertiary Transformers : 33kV (BIL 170kV) to 60MVA including physical short circuit testing without concession to IEC specification Lot 3: UK Distribution Bulk Supply Transformers The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of bulk supply transformers: 132kV (BIL 650kV) upto 90MVA Lot 4: UK Distribution Primary Transformers The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of UK Primary Transformers: 66kV & 33kV CER - 66kV (BIL 325kV) upto 40MVA - 33kV (BIL 170kV) upto 40MVA 33kV CMR (5MVA) - 33kV (BIL (170kV) 5MVA upratable to 6.25MVA Lot 5: US High Voltage Primary Transformers UVDB Code 1.07.2700 (less than 10 MVA) The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of US High Voltage power Transformers rated 230kV and above: • Large power transformers with 268.8/358/448 (AUTO) MVA size • Large power transformers with 330/440/550 MVA size Lot 6: Options for extending for a maximum of 36 months in one or more renewal periods. The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of US Medium Voltage Transformers rated 65kV - 115kV, 15 MVA base - 100 MVA​: • MV Tx 24/32/40 MVA​ • MV Tx 30/40/50 MVA​ • MV Tx 33/44/55 MVA​ Lot 7: Lot 7​ US Low Voltage (less than 10MVA) Transformers The manufacture, testing, delivery, install and Stage 1 commissioning (commissioned to pre-energisation) of Low Voltage Power Transformers rated below 69kV 15MVA base: • Small Tx 3.75/4.687 MVA​ • Small Tx 7.5/9.375 MVA​ • Small Tx 10/12.5 MVA​ • Small Tx 12/16/20 MVA​
