Sefton Council are inviting Expressions of interest for a Provider to support a 15 year old Male who is in need of Residential Care Home. He is a risk to himself and unable to regulate his emotions and his behaviour in order to keep himself and others who care for him safe for a sustained period of time. Placement needs:- • Ofsted Registered Childrens Home. • To work in partnership with the Council and CAMHS to manage risk • To provide an environment where he can feel safe and comfortable. • Initially 2:1 staffing in the day • Waking night staff member sat outside YP room at night initially required • Placement staff to be permitted to search YP room and his person for drugs or weapons. • Placement staff needs to be trained in restraint and safe holding, but staff will need to try all methods of de-escalation first. • Placement will need consistent and resilient staffing.</p> Keywords: Residential
