BNPPRE UK’s CSR strategy, aligned with its Group strategy and mapped against the UN Sustainable Development Goals following a BNPPRE Global materiality assessment, frames its vision and commitments as key Real Estate players, under four pillars: economic responsibility, evironmental responsibility, our people, and the community. Examples of social value initiatives include: BNPPRE's UK Property Management Team helped Legal and General Investment Management Real Assets and Mitsubishi Estate win the Social Innovation Project Award for 245 Hammersmith at the Social Value Awards 2021; with regards to charity work this is essential to BNPPRE’s social obligations and forms a key part of their CSR and ESG delivery, and teams across the UK undertake their own fundraisers for a wide range of charities; with regards to the environment BNPPRE UK is committed to purchasing 100% electricity from renewable sources, phasing out single use plastics from all offices, and delivering a 60% reduction in absolute emissions target by 2030.
