Tender description
Worcester City Council is seeking to host a vegan market in the city centre in Spring, Summer and Autumn 2022. This would be in addition to the existing monthly markets that take place on the first and second Saturday in the month. The Council is looking into the capability and availability of suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a vegan market in Worcester City Centre on specific dates. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of matters. You are therefore invited to consider our Specification and complete a Market Sounding Questionnaire. This Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The Council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only. It will be used in order to assess the reaction of the market and make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient. Participating in this process will give Providers the opportunity to: • gain a clear understanding of the Council's requirements • raise any concerns • better plan and prepare for the potential contract opportunity • partner with others to provide the service Please see the market sounding documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this Market Sounding exercise. To gain access to the market sounding documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the market sounding documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the market sounding documents.
