Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to the University of Sheffield, University College London and University of Liverpool. Lot 1: Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to the University of Sheffield, University College London and University of Liverpool<br/><br/>The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.<br/><br/>HEE is seeking providers to deliver a fully integrated blended learning programme that strategically develops placement capacity for orthoptics across the country.<br/>HEE believes that the three Universities identified for this partnership make them uniquely placed to deliver this service for the following reasons:<br/>• already have the necessary links in orthoptic educational provision and therefore will be able to undertake this work<br/>• all three have a track record of delivering innovative projects in education<br/>• have existing strong relationship with HEE in the successful delivery of health educational programmes<br/>• have expertise and established programmes in delivering orthoptic education<br/>• are all world leading institutions that provide quality tertiary education to a wide range of students, including international students<br/><br/><br/>For the Specification, Contract and the Case for Direct Award please access the portal at: <br/>https://health-family-contract-search.secure.force.com/?SearchType=Projects <br/>All communications should be made via the messaging function on the Health Family eTendering portal. <br/>If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the eTendering Portal in the first instance within 30 days of the date of this Prior Information Notice.<br/>The financial envelope for this PIN is £360,000 + VAT<br/>The closing date of this PIN is midday on 07 March 2022
