The Executive Office (TEO) - Lived Experience Research – Violence Against Women and Girls

The Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Directorate (EVAWG) within the Executive Office (TEO) has been established in response to a motion debated in the Northern Ireland Assembly on 25 March 2021 on violence against women and girls in Northern Ireland. EVAWG has been charged with developing a Strategy to include an Action Plan and in order to inform this, empirical research is required to understand the types, prevalence and settings where women and girls experience behaviour that can be regarded as violence towards them. For this tender opportunity, TEO is seeking to appoint a market research organisation to design and undertake quantitative and qualitative research on lived experience and personal testimony, through direct engagement with women who have/are experiencing violence against them and the myriad of organisations who support them. The successful contractor will present their analysis of this to EVAWG. The Contract period will be for six months, commencing on the award of Contract.
