Secure Bulk Destruction & Disposal of Confidential Waste

Tender description

The Buyer requires a supplier to provide a service for the Secure Destruction and Disposal of Confidential Waste Service for bulk volumes of paper waste on a monthly basis from Newcastle upon Tyne plus potential additional ad hoc requirements of bulk paper waste throughout the rest of the NHSBSA's UK estate. The anticipated core requirement will be to securely destroy and dispose (recycle) paper copies of prescriptions forms. There will be approximately 65 pallets of records to be destroyed each month with an anticipated volume of 45,000kg per month. Further volume details can be found within the tender documentation. From market research it is envisaged that this volume and frequency of wastepaper has the potential to generate a revenue in the paper recycling market and the NHSBSA anticipates that it will receive a portion of this revenue from the provider who can destroy and dispose of the waste.
