Tender description

To completely strip back the roof covering, remove the water sodden plywood, ventilation battens and quilt insulation underneath and then proceed to reroof the whole roof from the roof joist level up. The new installation would be a warm roof construction removing the need for the roof to be ventilated and moving the vapour control layer above the joists to allow it to be installed unhindered by the joints. The build up would be 18mm WBP plywood deck fixed to the existing joists, full vapour control layer with all joints lapped and sealed, 150mm ridge insulation bounded to 18mm WBP plywood, separation layer and 0.7mm Zinc standing seam panels along with new gutters, verge and ridge flashings.
