PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE (PIN) with the purpose of inviting MARKET CONSULTATION for the provision of System for Real Time Traffic Queue Detection and Traffic Data & Professional Services

Tender description

Dublin City Council (DCC) Environment and Transportation Department under its function for traffic management within the city is looking to explore the options to support its bus priority service by utilising a system for traffic Queue detection and traffic data. It is expected that this system would consist of a two components. A connected remote device with the flexibility to be located at the most efficient location for queue detection and a back office management system for managing/administering the device with an API for streaming the queue and traffic data. DCC is seeking information from economic operators for the provision of solutions to supply this system of flexible queue detection, device management and data streaming service. Please note that this is not a call for competition and no tender documents are available at this stage. Also the process will not be utilised in order to preclude any future competition to be conducted by Dublin City Council.
