The Newborns Genome Programme team at Genomics England is setting out to co-design an ethics-approved research pilot to explore the benefits, challenges, and limitations of offering whole genome sequencing (WGS) as a screening test to newborn babies. We would like to commission a piece of work for an external provider to undertake wider consultation on the framework that will be developed by our working group.
