Measured Term Contract for Repairs to TV Aerials; 2022-2025

Tender description

North Lanarkshire Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Repair of TV Aerials throughout the geographical area of North Lanarkshire Council. The works comprise works to and maintenance of TV Aerials to domestic properties in the North Lanarkshire area. All works will be carried out within the boundaries of North Lanarkshire mainly within occupied properties. The work comprises: The repair of communal TV aerials/Integrated Reception Systems instructed via priority coded ad-hoc response orders for works necessitated by general faults, vandalism and sundry other works that may be instructed by the Contract Administrator or their nominated representative. This will include all repairs of any components whether minor or major as contained within the schedule of rates to ensure all systems remain in operation. The properties are located throughout the Councils geographical area within Tower Blocks, Retirement Housing, Supported Accommodation Units, Walk up flatted blocks, single/2 storey Housing. Many installed systems are to SKY plus standard; a lesser portion which are newer build properties have Sky Q installed. The provider will require to access loft spaces, electrical cupboards and tenants’ properties to carry out works. All works/materials should conform to the current Industry standard/British Standard.
